Roadmap

What we are actively building next for Capted, focused on expanding the layer animation library for text, shapes, and custom motion components.

Layers & MotionIn Progress

Expanded animation library for text, shapes, and callout layers

Growing the built-in animation library so text, vector shapes, arrows, and callout layers have a wider set of ready-to-use entrance, emphasis, and exit motions.

  • Per-character, per-word, and per-line kinetic typography presets with spring and cubic-bezier controls.
  • Shape morphing, stroke draw-in, and badge pop animations for UI callouts and highlights.
  • Adjustable stagger, damping, and hold timing directly from the layer inspector or via natural language.
Custom Graphics & AIIn Progress

Custom component presets and reusable motion templates

Expanding what Capted AI and the custom component runtime can build out of the box, with reusable templates you can save and share across projects.

  • Starter library of customizable motion components (animated counters, comparison cards, keyboard shortcut pills, and spotlight pointers).
  • Richer inspector schema controls for custom layers, including color palettes, spring curves, and layout alignment.
  • Save any AI-generated component to your local library so you can drop it into future recordings in one click.
Agent SkillsIn Progress

New #skills for kinetic typography and UI storytelling

Adding specialized #skills that guide Capted AI when choreographing multi-layer text sequences, shape callouts, and custom scene transitions.

  • Dedicated presets for product launch intros, feature callout stacks, and step-by-step walkthrough labels.
  • Tighter frame-level layout verification when combining recorded zooms with custom text and shape overlays.
